📈💡 Big win for O’Gorman!
O’Gorman High School students earned 2nd place at the South Dakota Statewide JA Stock Market Challenge on April 22, hosted by Junior Achievement of South Dakota! 👏
Nineteen teams competed in a fast-paced investing simulation, managing $500,000 in virtual funds across 24 fictional stocks. With each “trading day” lasting just 60 seconds, students had to think quickly, adapt strategies, and collaborate under pressure through 60 rounds of trading.
Our students prepared in class through JA Invest for Your Future with Mrs. Bradfield, building real-world financial literacy skills that helped them shine in this high-energy competition.
