🏫 Last night, we welcomed parents to OGHS for our High School Open House!
The evening began with an opportunity to hear from our new principal, assistant principal, chaplain, and director of counseling as they shared more about the year ahead and the ways we work together to support our students.
Parents then stepped into their students’ shoes—following their child’s schedule, visiting each class period, and meeting the teachers who will be part of their journey this year. 📚
We know our students are at their best when families and school work together. We are grateful to all the parents who joined us and to our faculty and staff for making the evening such a great start to that partnership.

The new school year is officially underway! Yesterday, we welcomed our newest students during Freshman Orientation, giving the Class of 2030 a chance to get acquainted with OGHS and prepare for their high school journey.

🎓 Senior Leadership Day was this week 💙💛
Every coach and activities director nominated students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities to be part of the OGHS Senior Leadership Team.
This week, these seniors came together for Senior Leadership Day, preparing to lead their classmates and the entire student body throughout the school year. The day included team-building games, leadership talks, mentorship and goal-setting discussions, an escape room challenge, Mass with Fr. Thornton, and, of course, pizza!
We're excited to see this group lead with integrity, serve others, and leave a lasting impact on our school community. Here's to a great year of leadership, service, and school spirit!

JPII Camp is an opportunity for young men to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, enjoy great adventures, and discover where God may be calling them.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. LeBrun is spending part of his summer at the AP Summer Institute at Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN. Through this 30-hour professional development course, he is deepening his expertise in AP Spanish Language and Culture and staying current with best practices to help students excel on the AP Exam.
Demonstrating initiative and dedication, Dr. LeBrun successfully wrote and secured a grant to cover the cost of tuition. We are proud of educators like Dr. LeBrun who continually invest in their own learning to create exceptional opportunities for O'Gorman students. #OGProud

Big news for O’G Boys Soccer! ⚽
Please join us in welcoming Neil Mancktelow as our new Head Coach! With collegiate coaching experience at Mount Marty University and the University of Minnesota Crookston, along with leadership roles for Sioux Falls Thunder and USD Women’s Soccer, Coach Mancktelow brings passion, experience, and a strong vision for our program.
“Neil’s experience at the collegiate level, combined with his passion for player development and relationship building, makes him an outstanding fit for O’Gorman,” said Steve Kueter, O’Gorman High School Athletic Director. “We are excited for the leadership and energy he will bring to our soccer program and student-athletes.”
Mancktelow shared his appreciation for the opportunity and his enthusiasm for the future of the O’Gorman boys’ soccer program.
