GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program: Deadline 01/05/2021
- For high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a citizen of the United States who plans to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2021-2022 academic year.
- $10,000 renewable scholarships are available.

Legends for Kids Scholarship: Deadline 01/13/2021
- For high school seniors who commit to continue their education at two- or four-year college or university in the fall directly after graduation.
- Applicants should have a GPA of at least 2.5 and have participated or contributed to high school athletic program in significant way while displaying high character and values that make them a positive role model within their respective community.
- $5,000 scholarship awarded.

2021 Equitable Excellence Scholarship Program: Deadline 01/28/2021*
- For high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States by Fall 2021.
- Scholarships range from $2,500 to $25,000 with a total of over $1.4 million in scholarships awarded.

- Application deadline: January 28, 2021 or when 10,000 applications are submitted, whichever occurs first.
Dakota Corps Scholarship: Deadline 02/01/2021
- For students pursuing a degree at a participating South Dakota college or university that will prepare the student to work in a critical need occupation (see website for details). Recipients also agree to remain and work in South Dakota for as many years as the scholarship was received, plus one year.
- Applicants must have a composite ACT score of 27 or greater (or the SAT equivalent) as well as a GPA of 2.8 or greater.

Simon Youth Foundation: Deadline 02/17/2021
- For high school seniors living in Sioux Falls or a nearby community who plans to attend an accredited two- to four-year college, technical, or vocational school full-time in fall 2021.
- One-time scholarship of up to $1,500 awarded.

Build Dakota Scholarship: Deadline TBD
- For students who intend to enroll full-time in a technical institute program determined as a high need workforce area in South Dakota (see website for details). Recipients agrees to work full-time in the field of study in South Dakota for a minimum of three years.
- 50 full-ride scholarships awarded.
- Applications open January 1, 2021. Check the website for updates and additional information.
First Dakota National Bank Scholarship: Deadline TBD
- For high school seniors who have a First Dakota National Bank checking account and plan to attend college full-time. You may open an account now before applying.
- Judging criteria is based on leadership and community service, an essay, scholastic achievement and financial responsibility.
- Up to a $5,000 scholarship is awarded to an individual.
- Applications will be available in January 2021. Check their website for updates and additional information.
Junior Achievement of South Dakota Leo Crawford Scholarship: Deadline 03/01/2021
- For high school seniors who have participated in Junior Achievement at some point in their K-12 education.
- Applicants may be pursuing a major in any field for their collegiate course of study.
- One time scholarship of $500 awarded.

Bellator Titans Motorcycle Scholarship: Deadline 03/13/2021
- For high school seniors with financial need.
- Applicants must be a South Dakota resident who who will be attending a post secondary institute in South Dakota.

Citi Youth Leadership Awards: Deadline 03/31/2021
- For high school seniors who have contributed at least 100 hours of service in the past 12 months. Eligible service may include: service with community/religious organizations; service through school/community based service-learning projects, or individual efforts to help others and/or improve the community. This service cannot include fundraising, lobbying, or paid/stipend service.
- Essay required.
- Three - $1,000 scholarships awarded.

Delventhal Law Scholarship: Deadline 04/15/2021
- This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who plan to attend a 4 year college/university or 2-year community college for the 2021-2022 school year and enter the law field.
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate both merit and need for the scholarship.
- One-time award worth $1,000 to be awarded the fall semester of 2021.

In The Driver’s Seat: Rotating Deadlines
- Scholarship opportunity awarded by the National Driving and Traffic School. Multiple rounds of the contest are available. Please see the website for other opportunities and essay examples.

Senior Care: Aging Matters Scholarship: Deadline 05/15/2021
- Awarded to one student who currently cares for an aging loved one, works with the senior community or intends to pursue a career that will have an impact on the elder population.
- Essay required that address why "aging matters" to the student.
- $1,500 scholarship awarded.

B. Davis Scholarship: Deadline 05/22/2021
- This scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as students currently registered in any post secondary institution.

Western Undergraduate Exchange
The Western Undergraduate Exchange Program (WUE) allows residents of participating states to enroll in designated public colleges and universities at a reduced tuition rate. Approximately 150% of resident tuition. The participating states are; Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
