Principal's Message

Welcome to O’Gorman High School, a four-time National Blue-Ribbon School of Excellence, where our mission is “…to form a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through Gospel values and academic excellence.” We work with our families to help our students grow in their faith life while receiving a college preparatory education from a nationally recognized academic program.

I invite you to take a moment to browse our website to learn more about our school and to get to know our community. To assure that O’Gorman High School is a Christ-centered community, our mission is prominently displayed and lived in every classroom and office. At O’Gorman High School, we recognize the need for divine guidance, constant improvement, and research-driven decisions.

Our graduates enjoy tremendous success both in their post-secondary education and beyond. Over 97% of the class of 2024 graduates matriculated into college. Our students achieve test scores consistently higher than local, state, and national averages with an average ACT composite score for the class of 2023 of 25.4.

We compete at the highest level of competition in our state, in spite of the fact that our population is roughly one-third the size of the largest schools. Over 95% of our students are involved in extracurricular activities, and our success in activities has been unparalleled with 123 state athletic championships.
